Scottish Public Health Observatory : Healthy Life Expectancy

Healthy life expectancy is the length of time people can expect to live in 'good' health. This release provides extensive new data on healthy life expectancy and life expectancy in Scotland and its NHS board areas, CHPs, intermediate geographies and locally defined areas, deprivation quintiles and deciles, and areas defined by the urban rural classification. Comparisons are drawn between Scotland and the UK and other Western European countries.
