BMJ Clinical Evidence updates

This month's updates on BMJ Clinical Evidence includes updated reviews of treatment options for post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, depression in adults, domestic abuse, Parkinson's disease and rheumatoid arthritis. BMJ Clinical Evidence is available on the NHS Scotland e-library for NHS staff in Scotland using the Athens log-in. The resource aims to promote better treatment decisions by providing systematic reviews of the latest evidence about healthcare interventions and presents the evidence in the context of clinical questions or decision points. It describes itself as "the international source of the best available evidence on the effects of common clinical interventions".

Amongst the updates in this issue is a discussion of the likely beneficial effects of cognitive behavioural therapy in the prevention and treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder.
